While producing a reality TV series for Maverik convenience stores, Ernie was inspired to produce and host a travel show focused on discovering adventures while on vacation that he called Xtreme Tourist. Thirteen episodes later he became tan and happy. Episodes aired across the United States, Spain, and Brazil.
If that's not enough, he also enjoys training for and competing in triathlons. He likes to push himself physically and mentally to test his limits. He finished dozens of triathlons including eight half-Ironman distances and Ironman Cozumel. When he puts his mind to something there is no stopping him.
